About This Sampler

There have been many changes in our lives in the past two years; not being able to share and sip tea together in person has been hard for tea lovers.

This International Tea Day (Saturday, May 21st) let’s make up for what has been missing and more. We are calling all tea lovers to go out and share tea with friends, families, and strangers. Let this day indeed be a holiday for us all, where we connect, share, love, and celebrate in the name of tea.

If you are joining in on this celebration, Tea Drunk wants to sponsor your tea party with three dark roasted wu longs, Yan Cha, crafted by heritage farmers in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Wu Yi Shan*.

These three varietals, Rou Gui, Shui Xian, and Da Hong Pao, are the staples of Yan Cha. The Zhang Family originally crafted these teas for an educational seminar Shunan gave at the World Tea Expo on Wu Yi Yan Cha.

When we inquired the Zhang Family what we should do with the excess teas, they tasked us to “do something good.” So here we are, paying it forward on this special occasion for us who indulge and tend to tea.

- Receive the teas by May 21st, 2022***

Before International Tea Day:
- Plan a tea party on Saturday, May 21st, 2022
- Invite friends, family, and your community. If the weather is nice, be in nature!
- You’ll receive educational material on the three teas via email. We are here to answer any questions you have about the tea or hosting a tea party.

On International Tea Day (Saturday, May 21st, 2022):
- Be an ambassador of tea and spread the joy of tea
- Tag us at @teadrunk and #SippingTogether #InternationalTeaDay
- Tea Drunk will be sharing inspiring posts all day long

You pledge to share these three teas with someone else on International Tea Day by participating in the giveaway. We have 75 sets to gift, so this package is only available while supplies last. First come, first served. To ensure as many of us can participate, one free set per host.

*While these three teas do not meet the Tea Drunk standard of our regular offerings, they are all from the prestigious Zheng Yan terroir and are crafted by the award-winning Zhang Family.
**To avoid spam and efficiently manage the logistics, shipping is not included and is automatically calculated at the checkout. Depending on the shipping method you select, most should be under $5.
***We will ship all sets by Friday, 5/13 with tracking via email. Most likely, you will receive the teas by 5/21. But shipping is not in our control and therefore not guaranteed. If you are outside the US, please order ASAP, as international shipping can take a long while.
