About This Course

We welcomed in the Year of the Tiger with Tea Drunk and Nom Wah at this virtual celebratory Guided Tasting!

You can still purchase the teas and dim sum separately and watch the FREE recording of this event on the Tea Drunk Academy.

We paired three delicious dumplings made by one of NYC’s most beloved and historic Dim Sum spots with three terroir-sourced teas! Dumplings are a festive food typically eaten during Lunar New Year as they represent prosperity and good luck.

What's Included?

In this tea set, you will receive one sample of each of these Tea Drunk teas:

Bai Mu Dan - White Tea
Shui Xian - Yan Cha
Gua Pian - Green Tea

Nom Wah ships nationwide via Goldbelly, you can purchase the following for the tasting:

Pork and Cabbage Dumplings (21 pieces)
Chicken Siu Mai (19 pieces)
Har Gow - Shrimp (23 pieces)

*No assembly required! You will be steaming and pan-frying only*

Please note, the dim sum is NOT included in this bundle, you must buy them separately from Nom Wah.

What You'll Need

  • For This Course, You'll Want:

    We recommend having a Gong Fu tea set up ready for brewing or reading our guide on teapot or mug brewing.

    For steaming: a pot with lid, basket steamer or vegetable steamer, perforated steamer paper (DIY parchment paper or a neutral leaf-like cabbage will work too)

    For pan-frying: oil (neutral is best - like canola), frying pan or skillet, tongs, paper towel-lined sheet pan
