This tea cup was curated for us by porcelain expert Tao Zi. Tao Zi was a senior porcelain appraiser at the top auction house Poly Auction and a true expert in porcelain history and antique porcelain. 

About This Item

This is a handmade porcelain tea cup with classic Chinese sacrificial red glaze. Ji Hong 祭紅 is referring to the unique red color befitting of sacrificial ceremonies in Chinese culture. It's a symbol of solemn and respect. Cup is Ling Dang shape, hence the bell cup. Cup volume is 30ml at proper pour and 50ml full.
