Tea Drunk ClassicThe best tea of each vintage.
Lei Da Shan Yellow Tea adapts yellow-tea processing to large-leaf heirloom material from Ge Lang He in Meng Hai, Yun Nan. The method softens the leaves’ natural strength while retaining their depth and long aftertaste, producing a distinctive profile of corn, flowers and nuts.

The making

The success of last year’s yellow tea from Wu Liang Shan gave us great encouragement! We decided to make another batch using even more expensive raw leaves, this time from Lei Da Shan of Ge Lang He. In addition to the classic corn note one would expect from a sophisticated yellow tea, this batch is also satisfyingly floral with hints of nuttiness. It’s long lingering aftertaste once again exhibits the unparalleled depth of the large leaves from trunk-style tea trees in the ancient tea mountains of Yun Nan.
