The making
Huo Qing is a traditional pearl shape green tea that takes the longest of all green teas to make. Each batch goes through over twelve hours of active making time as the leaves are slowly dried and shaped over a low-temperature wok. This part of the process puts this tea in a unique borderline tea between a Chao Qing and a Hong Qing green tea. It’s bold and forward like a Chao Qing while still silky and smooth like a Hong Qing.
