Bai Mu Dan (Wu Yi Yan Cha) - 白牡丹
This tea belongs to the Wu Yi Yan Cha tradition.
From Shi Zi Feng in Wu Yi Shan, this Spring 2024 Bai Mu Dan refers not to white tea but to a rare indigenous Yan Cha cultivar. Like the name “white peony” suggests, it is deeply floral, with a commanding presence and an undercurrent of solemn woodiness—as the Chinese say, a stately beauty that can move a nation.
This tea’s region can also be experienced in the field through the Educational Tea Tour — Wu Yi Shan.
This tea is featured in Wu Long Guided Tastings — Yan Cha, an on-demand paid course on Udemy.

A Connoisseur's Note
整體表現香氣豐富層次分明,強勢霸氣,路線清晰,辛辣的一面也很鮮明。似學識廣博的霸道總裁,但行事風格不尖銳,底蘊深厚。耐久度略為欠缺。
